Thank you
There's some things that are difficult to express in words. Unending gratitude from experiences that change our
pseudo-internal rythyms and habitual patterns. . .See? For what a lovely internal state of experience I'm in, there's just
not a lovely way to express it. Poetry, song, dance- just can't capture it. So. . .it's not euphoria or mania. Not excitement
or satisfaction. Perhaps. . .deep unending renewal- an infinitely sprouting seed of faith and joy, corresponding with shared
experience in the physical realm. That's the best I can do, folks. I guess that's why life is not a spectator sport. We're
all in it together. I sincerely hope you have a lovely day whoever and wherever you are.

Tonasket trades
Just in case you thought bartering was something that died in the 1800's, here's a list of things I traded for this year
at the Okanogan Family Faire:
3 boxes of organic apples, 1 box of organic Bosch pears, some jewelry from South Africa, lots of herbal tinctures, cuscuske
or sweet mountain cicely root, dried nettles, art, dried venison, photography, baby clothes, sparkly yarn, a two hour professional
bodywork session with Giovanni (Yes!), Handground hot organic Chai tea, honey, goat cheese, lovely homemade rasberry
wine, a hula hoop, clothes, 5 kinds of squash and lots and lots of love and joy.

beauty in ugliness
Why is it that I like the sign "PEACE" so much better than the sign "NO WAR"? I think it's important to acknowledge the
ugliness and turn towards the beauty. If everyone is fear driven, angry, overworked and confused who is going to remember
what they were scared away from in the first place? What is that saying? Be careful that in the course of fighting monsters
you don't become one in the process. . .or something like that?
The pink bus just became a mobile recording studio.(WHAT!!) Look for our first PiNkBuS Records independent album
and corresponding myspace page to be released in late Dec/January. So FUN!
We're headed to Nelson/ Kaslo/ Nakusp, BC tomorrow. Hot spring fun!
PEACE, LOVE, MUSIC, BEAUTY and Newman's Own Peanut Butter Cups. (I swear I'm not getting paid to say that. Try them.
You'll see.)
I hope you're having a Zendafari time in Missouri Bob/Dragon/Comet/Cheeto Man.

I'm over it. . .
We were driving south with a friend of ours, headed to Mexico. In an old 66 Chevy pick-up truck. He wanted to stop
in Las Vegas- we had no desire to stop there at all. It looked like a sprawling metropolis of lights and booby billboards.
So we pulled into a pay parking lot and told our friend, Sam, "Meet us back here in an hour". Matt and I and the six year
old would just listen to the radio and play games. Then two security guard approached the truck and (very aggressively) asked
us what we were doing. "Waiting for our friend to come back. We're meeting him here in an hour." Apparently that was not
allowed. And in the history of this Las Vegas Parking Lot no one had ever tried to stay in their parked vehicle. They told
us they would call back-up to arrest us and take custody of our six-year-old if we did not leave the parking lot. So, of course,
no big deal, we left. We wandered into a casino and ordered dinner. Matt told me to order for him. I ordered sushi, not
realizing Matt had never had it before. He looked at his dinner plate with undisguised bewilderment. The lesson we learned
that night is that peace does not come in places, events,or material items. Peace lives within. So wherever you go, there
you are! Deal with it, or leave. . .We're leaving Spokane Monday to head for the hills. Our time here was a learning experience.
